I consider myself a protein bar connoisseur, and these bars are my favorite of all time. I even converted my entire family. I’m usually passing these babies out on a road trip like dollar bills in a strip club. They seriously taste like you are having cookie dough. My favorites are Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
I am a chickpea lover! Finally, when Bena Baked Chickpeas came out, all I could think to myself is ‘Where have you been all my life?’ They are a salty yet satisfying snack. I carry them around with me in my oversized handbag every day. They are delicious on their own, but sometimes at lunch, I will sprinkle them over my salad to add an extra crunch.
We are a nation divided. But I stand on the side for cottage cheese. To me, it’s one of the most satisfying snacks there is. You can make it sweet by adding a few berries and a dash of honey, but I prefer savory. I am also a bit lactose intolerant, so lucky for me, Lactaid makes an amazing cottage cheese that I snack on weekly. I like to spread cottage cheese over a high fiber GG cracker and add everything bagel seasoning.
Edamame has been a staple in my diet for as long as I can remember. It is a portable and satisfying snack that you will love. I like to buy them frozen, heat them up, and add a dash of salt on top of them. They are a great snack to chomp on while you do a mindless task and want to keep your mouth busy.
I have been tried so many greek yogurts. There are so many options; it can be overwhelming. I love Sig’s because all of their flavors are delicious, and they’re very low in sugar. It keeps me full through the afternoon slump all the way until dinner.
Here’s another very portable staple to carry around with in your oversized handbag. I like to have a baby bell and an apple on me to satisfy my hunger cravings; it keeps me fill all morning long
Chia Seeds have been trending for a while, and they’re not going anywhere. This sweet snack really hits the spot. Try this key lime pie chia pudding!
I love changing up my on the go snacks. I just discovered Magic spoon cereal. I’ll throw one serving in my bag and crunch in down on my way to work. It’s so simple but with 11g protein and only 3 carbs it is a filling on the go snack. Or as I like to call it, a second breakfast.
A hard-boiled egg is such a classic snack but often overlooked when you’re looking to get some real protein look no further than a basic hard-boiled egg. It’s super filling and keeps the hangry away.
